SPRINGFIELD GREETERS AND SMALL BUSINESS SOLUTIONS HUB- STRATEGIES FOR VIDEO AND SOCIAL MEDIA STORYTELLING

At the Small Business Solutions Hub on November 10th, attendees will hear from two professionals in the media industry to learn about making impactful video and social media content. This is a second edition of Small Business Solutions Hub run in partnership with Springfield Greeters, providing content designed specifically for Springfield Greeters members.

First, you will hear from Kelly Campbell, Founder of Reel Good Social, on how to maximize the impact of social content. You're pouring time and energy into creating content, but how do you know if it's actually reaching the right people, or getting the impressions and performance it deserves? Most businesses are creating great content and still not seeing the results, simply because of what happens (or doesn't happen) after it's made. We'll talk about how to make sure your content is actually getting seen by the right people, from how you publish it so platforms can understand and surface it, to how your profile is set up to turn viewers into leads, plus a few small, often-overlooked tweaks that can make a big difference in your reach and results. 

Next, Jennifer Richardson, President of Richardson Media, will present on video that works – when to shoot, how to shoot, and when to call a pro. Video is one of the best ways to help your business get noticed, but not every video needs to be a full production. Richardson will share simple ways to recognize great video opportunities within your business and capture them on your phone. She’ll also explain when DIY video works and when investing in professional production can make a bigger impact. You’ll leave with practical tips and ideas you can start using right away.

Kelly Winberg, MBA is the founder of Reel Good Social, a social media agency helping Oregon businesses turn scattered posting into a real strategy that drives visibility and leads. With over 10 years of digital marketing experience, Kelly specializes in building social media systems that help business owners understand what to post, where to post it, and why it works. Not just create content and hope for the best. She regularly works with Oregon-based brands such as The Human Bean, Reynolds, and Burley, and regularly speaks and teaches on social media strategy for business owners and marketing leaders.
 
Jennifer Richardson is the founder and president of Richardson Media, an award-winning public relations and video storytelling firm based in Eugene-Springfield. A former television news anchor and reporter, Jennifer has more than 20 years of media and communications experience. Today, she helps businesses, nonprofits and public agencies tell their stories, earn media coverage and connect with their audiences through public relations, media training and video production. She also teaches communications at the University of Oregon. Jennifer was recently named a finalist for the Eugene Chamber’s 2026 Women Business Leader of the Year. As a business owner, boss and mom, she understands the balancing act of building a business while raising a family and staying involved in the community. She strongly believes in giving back and using her skills to support local nonprofits and organizations that make a difference.
