Event Description:
Join us for a fun-filled day of bocce! This is one of three regional Bocce competitions across the state. Bocce is of Italian origin and very similar to lawn bowling. It's a fun outdoor sport that requires skill and strategy. Special Olympics Oregon is recruiting volunteers to support the competition, Volunteers serve as officials and scorekeepers. No experience is necessary! You will be trained at the start of your shift.  Officials: Enforce gameplay rules, perform mechanical measurements of ball distance from pallina, award points for plays.
